Arrival of Honda Cars in India is the result of a joint venture between Honda Motor Company of Japan and Siel Limited, a Siddharth Shriram Group company. Honda Siel Cars India Ltd., was incorporated in December 1995. Honda India's manufacturing facility is located at Greater Noida in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Honda manufactures Honda Jazz, Honda City, Honda Civic and Honda Accord models at its plant in India. However, its SUV model, Honda C-RV is not manufactured in India. Honda C-RV is imported from Japan as completely build units. Honda has a strong sales and distribution network spread across the country.
